i think we should bring back the original first draft script for Holes written by the doofus that did Donnie Darko

i can’t give you a little taste of the madness in this script that even remotely suggests how thoroughly, dedicatedly insane it is, but i can give you a couple notes that set the tone

1) they did away with the funny “stanley yelnats haha his last name is his first name backwards” his names stanley kramer now

2) you know how he’s being punished for allegedly stealing shoes in the book (which he didn’t actually do)? well in this one he’s being punished for actually mercy killing his kid sister. fuck you
