I just realized that I have a meteorite and I have never licked it. I have an actual space rock sitting on my desk, a thing that came from beyond our earth, and I have never once licked it.
I need to fix this once I get home.
Tell us what space tastes like.
Unfortunately I have a mild case of serious brain damage and can hardly taste. I will, however, tell you what space feels like on the tongue.
Oh my god! I can actually taste it! (A little). Why have I not done this before?!
Uh, let’s see. It tastes … like a dull edge? Like something flat and kind of not-there but then it spreads across your tongue and settles in and becomes like a buzz. And I can feel where the edges of the meteorite were even after I take my tongue off, because there’s more of the buzz right away at those places on my tongue.
And it feels like a cross between a rough rock and a polished table on the tongue.
10/10, will lick again.
