in 2010, david mitchell hosted a show called “the bubble”.

the premise was that each week, three celebrities were sent away to an isolated house with no contact with the outside world, after which they’d be presented with various news stories from the week and had to guess which were real and which were fake.

it never got renewed for a second series, but i can’t help but feel that it’s a format that would work incredibly well in the post-2016 world, where nothing makes any sense anymore.
