Whether this is a real diagnosis or not, it’s pretty accurately described my last five years.

It is not a dsm used diagnosis…. but we do use PDD (it’s not called dysthymia anymore) along with major depressive disorder as co-occurring diagnoses. Meaning that someone can have a major depressive episode while suffering from PDD.

PDD= persistent depressive disorder
