Took my mom to Pike’s Place today so she could see it for the first time. (I refuse to go on a weekend ever.) It was… A little chilly. I needed like three more layers, including gloves and leggings under my jeans. I always forget how much colder it is as you get closer to the water because I’m so far inland.

On the other hand today was my first time using ppublic transportation up here, and I’m definitely taking the bus from now on if I need to get to the city.

I’m dying. You look like I feel in winter. The Winter Marshmallow. All the layers. Become the layers. Roll down the street encased in wool and warm.

The weather app said it “felt like” 40, but I’m here to tell you that’s a filthy lie. I was warmer when it was LITERALLY SNOWING on Christmas. The wind chill by the water is the breath of Satan.
