do you think when millennials are like 70 memes will split off by ages or will the internet be a great uniter of generations?????

but i feel like………….. gen z and the millennials have a lot of memes in common/barely differ and it splits off by length of time ones life has had social media readily accessible. i think they’re more website split than age split. but idk i dont know a thing ever.

Even when I’m on Facebook, I don’t see near as many Minion or wine mom memes from my younger friends.  There’s definitely an age split, but I don’t know if that’s going to continue as groups that are already well-versed in memes get older.  (Then there’s the time we had to explain lolcats to my dad in 2012.  I think he’s still using LinkedIn as a social media site.)

i guess i just gotta wait and see. watch myself become out of touch 😢
