like my mom is a nurse and when she’s out and happens to glance at people’s wrists she’s like ‘that wrist is good for IV needles’

I’m a graphic designer and i look at products in grocery store and judge how everything on the packaging design looks

my dad’s a doctor and sometimes he diagnoses people in his head when they walk by

my husband does food safety inspections and comments on the state of the kitchen/back-of-house if he can see it like 

“oh good they have soap in their soap dispensers” or “that person didn’t change gloves”

meanwhile I’m a geologist and all i got is “the rocks here are nice”
